We have some beautiful woodland and lakes which make for the most perfect
backdrops for your Mini Photoshoot.

FAQ

  • What should we wear for the shoot?

    Choose coordinated outfits that complement each other without being too matchy-matchy. 


    Stick to a color palette—neutral tones, soft pastels, or muted shades work well. 


    Avoid heavy patterns or logos, which can distract from the natural flow of the photos. Instead, opt for solid colors, light textures, and layers to create a harmonious and timeless look.

  • How long before I receive my images?

    A maximum of 10 days,  uploaded to an online gallery for you to make your choices.

  • How many images will I get?

    5 edited images are included, you can upgrade to all the images.

  • How long should a mini photoshoot last?

    Around 45 minutes, if the shoot extends much longer than this you may find children can get a bit fidgety or bored. 


    An experienced location photographer will be able to shoot against a number of different backdrops and photograph many different poses in this amount of time. 

  • Where will the shoot take place?

    At a local Wakefild woodland location, although I can travel to a location near you if needed.

    We are lucky in West Yorkshire to have a range of photogenic parks, stately homes, lakes or historic urban locations to shoot at.

  • How many family members can I bring to the shoot?

    A mini family shoot is for immediate family (Mum, Dad, Kids and dogs).


    If you wish to include Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles then contact me for details.

  • What if it rains on the day of the shoot

    It’s certainly possible knowing our UK weather! 


    If the rain is on and off we will still go ahead and allow a little more time. I might also suggest a location which I know has shelter. 


    If its going to be a total wash out we will be in touch to arrange a new date. 

  • Which season is best for the shoot?

    Spring awakens with a fresh, green vibrancy. Cool mornings glisten with dew, gradually warming as the day unfolds. The air feels crisp and new, perfect for capturing the gentle promise of growth and renewal.


    As summer takes hold, the days grow long and bright. Intense colors saturate the landscape, and the golden sun casts  dramatic shadows.


    Then comes autumn, with its palette of golds, oranges, reds, and browns. The world feels cozy and nostalgic,the soft, diffused light of shorter days creates a warm and romantic atmosphere.


    Finally, winter arrives, cloaking the world in crisp, cool tones. Days are short, with sunlight streaming in at low angles, perfect for  imagery. Woolly hats, thick scarves, and visible breath bring texture and intimacy to every shot.
